Multi part review: Lindsey the RDH, Dr Mak, DDS, and Davis Smiles as a whole. Lindsey C., RDH—Lindsey is incredibly patient. She understands anxiety in general, as well as just dental anxiety. She explains everything she does, asks if you’re ready, provides stress balls to squeeze and neck pillows for comfort. My teeth were badly stained and had a lot of build up, decades worth. Lindsey never once made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. In fact, after the final cleaning, I cried joyously tears because I could smile freely again. Dr. Mak and assistant— I’ve feared dentists since childhood. Now, a few years till I’m 40, I found Dr. Mak. First thing, he asks you what your concerns are. What’s bothering you first. He and his assistant make sure that it’s the patients choice of what’s going to happen. Second, every person they ‘refer’ you to, are in house. EX: I went in, had a quick exam with Mak, he said I needed teeth pulled, I was scheduled with an or surgeon in house. The dental assistant checked in on me during my tooth extraction (she also checked in on me during my cleanings with Lindsey). Office: I use to get annoyed how often they reminded me about my appointment ( phone, text and email twice a day sometimes) but now I appreciate they do it. They remember who I am, that I got a new job, everything. Even short staffed, they make sure they personalize their efforts. I am a person with extreme daily anxiety, fear of dental offices in general, a person needing A LOT of dental work (extractions, crowns, wisdom teeth removal in adulthood, gum disease, etc.), and I cannot recommend this office enough. Even the music hits every kind of person they attend to. 😊 They take most insurance and have payment plans if not.
